“Nursing is in my blood. Both my grandmother and grandfather were nurses and they were the inspiration to join the field of nursing. I decided to be an ICU nurse because it allows me to spend 1-on-1 time with patients due to the nature of the care they need.

About a year ago, I got involved in Favorite’s volunteer program volunteering for Ruff Start Rescue and I’ve been fostering dogs ever since. I honestly didn’t know Favorite had a volunteer program, but when I heard about it through an email sent to me, I just filled out the form and received my T-shirt by mail. It was super easy! I wear my shirt when I volunteer and submitted pictures of me volunteering in my Favorite shirt. I got the most likes on Facebook and I won a generous donation to Ruff Start Rescue. It was so easy and incredibly worth it! I will participate again for sure.”

Favorite’s Volunteering Contest Works Like This:
To participate in the contest, you must have your picture taken while volunteering in your Favorite Volunteer T-Shift and submit the picture to Volunteering@FavoriteStaffing.com with a description of your activity and the number of hours you volunteered.

Everyone who participates by sending Favorite Volunteer photos will be entered in the contest competition to win a donation to the charity of their choice.
Favorite will share the pictures we receive by posting them to our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Entries receiving the most Facebook “Likes” will determine the winners.
At the end of each contest period, Favorite will make a donation to the winners’ selected charities.

Our Spring/Summer Volunteer Contest runs through September 22nd.
Winners will be announced September 25th on Facebook.
Donations will awarded as follows:
1st Place = $300 Donation / 2nd Place = $200 Donation / 3rd Place = $100 Donation
